With everyone getting ready to buy Gurdians of the Galaxy Vol 2 next month, we have a couple of very awesome bits of video for you all…

First up, how about a totally mental music video for your viewing pleasure, the one and only The Sneepers ft. David Hasselhoff performing Guardians Inferno. Directed by David Yarovesky.

Next, speaking to Yahoo! about a new deleted scene from the upcoming home release (below), director James Gunn said: “[Peter Quill] sort of looks like this big muscular Frank Frazetta heroic character, and Groot looks kind of like a piece of broccoli, and they somehow confused Drax and Rocket so Drax is a tiny little thing standing on his arm, and Gamora is a very buxom character holding on and looking up lovingly at Peter Quill, holding onto his leg. So they’re not as thrilled with it as Quill is.”

Written and directed by James Gunn, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Glenn Close, Pom Klementieff, Elizabeth Debicki, and Kurt Russell. Here’s the official synopsis:

Set to the backdrop of ‘Awesome Mixtape #2,’ Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 continues the team’s adventures as they traverse the outer reaches of the cosmos. The Guardians must fight to keep their newfound family together as they unravel the mysteries of Peter Quill’s true parentage. Old foes become new allies and fan-favorite characters from the classic comics will come to our heroes’ aid as the Marvel cinematic universe continues to expand.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will be released digitally in HD, 4K Ultra HD, and Disney Movies Anywhere on August 8 followed by a 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD release on August 22.

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
