A new TV spot has dropped for Doctor Strange during the Rio Olympics and it’s a big ‘un…

It really looks like Strange will take the MCU in a new, exciting direction and we can’t wait to see where that it.

Doctor Strange synopsis reads as follows: “Marvel’s Doctor Strange follows the story of the talented neurosurgeon Doctor Stephen Strange who, after a tragic car accident, must put ego aside and learn the secrets of a hidden world of mysticism and alternate dimensions. Based in New York City’s Greenwich Village, Doctor Strange must act as an intermediary between the real world and what lies beyond, utilizing a vast array of metaphysical abilities and artifacts to protect the Marvel cinematic universe.

The movie was directed by Scott Derrickson, from a script by Jon Spaihts and stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Rachel McAdams, Michael Stuhlbarg, Tilda Swinton, Chiwetel Ejiofor and Mads Mikkelsen.

Marvel’s Doctor Strange arrives in 3D theaters and IMAX 3D on November 4th, 2016.

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
