WATCH: New teaser released for Zack Snyder’s Justice League gives us more tantalising goodness

November 17th, 2020 by Marc Comments

Well, we all knew that today would see a new tease for Zack Snyder’s Justice League which is due next year on HBO Max, and now we have it.

A new teaser for the four-hour mini-series has been revealed to mark the third anniversary of the date when we should have seen the movie but instead got Joss Whedon’s heavily altered version after Snyder himself left the production due to a family tragedy.

The new teaser gives us new looks at Darkseid, the heroes and new villain Desaad, one of Darkseid’s devoted followers as well as new footage of Steppenwolf’s new look for the movie.

While originally planned as a movie, the SnyderCut as it’s become known, is set to be released as a four-hour miniseries on the streamer service and, sadly, the new teaser just says it’ll be 2021… nothing more specific than that.

In an interview over the weekend, Snyder laid out some new details about the movie – you can watch it here.

We already know that Deathstroke star Joe Manganiello will return with new scenes, we also know that Jared Leto – who wasn’t part of the plan originally – will be back as a ‘road weary’ looking version of Joker. He also revealed that the new cut will have four minutes of new footage – basically new material shot just for this release on top of the fact that the series will be almost twice as long as the theatrical release with mostly new material.

Anyway, here’s the new teaser and also the very cool black and white version Snyder himself released:

Enjoy…

On top of this, Snyder himself released a black and white version of the trailer in Vero:

UPDATED:

After the trailer dropped, Snyder himself took to Vero to talk about the trailer, answering fans’ questions. It’s a fun watch which you can see here:
