It’s back! A new video (below) liked from the set of Ghostbusters 2020 seems to show the classic Ecto-1 back in action.
The car looks battered and old, and the ladder seems to be on the wrong side, but this resembles the car as it appeared in the original Ghostbusters movie in 1984 rather than the car (Ecto-1A) as seem in Ghostbusters II.
Which is odd because, if this is a sequel – essentially Ghostbusters III – as expected, then the 1A is the car that is should be.
But there’s likely an explanation – maybe the Ecto-1 and 1A are actually different cars as some have suspected or maybe there’s alternate reality shenanigans afoot.
Or maybe – just maybe – it’ll not be addressed in the movie at all?
With way, it’s great to see this iconic car back on the road for an all-new GB movie.
