What a time to be a fan of Scott Pilgrim!
A few weeks ago we learned the movie and video game are getting re-releases after this damned virus pi@#es off (here), then we learned that an animated adventure is in the works and a sequel to the iconic comic series may happen (here) and now we have a cast table read of the movie script to enjoy!
The read was and has director Edgar Wright appearing alongside Michael Cera, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Chris Evans, Anna Kendrick, Alison Pill, Aubrey Plaza, Mae Whitman, Jason Schwartzman, Ellen Wong, Satya Bhabha, Brandon Routh, and Mark Webber as well Scott Pilgrim creator Bryan Lee O’Malley and screenplay co-writer Michael Bacall.
How’s that for a slice of fired gold?
The gathering celebrates the movie’s tenth anniversary (time does fly), so if you’re a fan (how could you not be?), then stick on a brew, grab a bun and get comfy… Scott Pilgrim is about to take on the world again.
