I’m not afraid to admit that I’m a massive fan of Vin Diesel. Or rather, of the Fast & Furious and Riddick franchises.

But the first XXX movie didn’t do it for me at all and the sequel? Well, less said about that, the better, huh?

So I’m confused who exactly needed another XXX movie. But never-the-less, here we are.

The trailer for XXX: The return of Xander Cage looks like exactly what you’d expect, so have a look and let us know what you think.

Diesel wrote on his Facebook page a while back: “The Director, producers and myself sitting in wonder as we take in the artistry of the many craftsmen that have built these amazing sets. You can tell the first day what level of crew you will be working with and it is clear that XxX has the very best. Grateful for the opportunity to make magic… The years of development, the months of preproduction… And here we are at the beginning of production.”

xXx: The Return of Xander Cage, stars Diesel, Samuel L. Jackson, Jet Li, Tony Jaa, Conor McGregor, Deepika Padukone, Nina Dobrev, Ruby Rose, and Toni Collette.

It will be directed by D.J. Caruso

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
