The official trailer for Batman: The Killing Joke has arrived online!

Warner Bros. Animation and DC Entertainment‘s direct-to-video animated adaptation of the Alan Moore and Brian Bolland graphic novel sees Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill reprise their roles as Batman and The Joker respectively.

The Killing Joke, one of the most celebrated graphic novels in history, is considered the definitive Joker origin story. Written by Alan Moore and drawn by Brian Bolland, Batman: The Killing Joke was published in 1988 to unanimous acclaim. Watch the trailer below:

It follows the Clown Prince of Crime through his earlier years as a struggling comic to his descent into insanity, terrorising Commissioner Jim Gordon after leaving his daughter, Barbara, paralysed.
