Heads up folks another great tabletop RPG is ripping through the Kickstarter charts
TimeWatch: GUMSHOE Investigative Time Travel RPG by Kevin W. Kulp went from launch to funded in less than five minutes and is still going. At this rate it will have run past all its stretch goals by midnight!
Players are members of Timewatch, a sort of time line police force who investigate disturbances to the time lines and try to sort things out correctly. The characters have been recruited from all sorts of different times and alternate histories, so you’re not restricted to human players, you can play as a Psychic Velociraptor if you want. Yeah, you read that right a Psychic Velociraptor!
Gumshoe is a system used by RPG publisher Pelgrane Press in many of their products. While dice rolling is still a feature, players also have a pool of points they can spend if their luck isn’t holding. This means the chances of players missing a vital clue are very slim, the ability to realise it’s a vital clue is still dependent on the players of course.
The author has been involved with many great RPGs and Pelgrane Press are well established, lovely people who are also extremely competent.
It’s already funded, the pledge levels are quite affordable, the rewards are neat, so I recommend you people throw some money at it here
It’s as secure a deal as you can get on Kickstarter, of course the velociraptors may not like the expo………>Bzzzzz< there are no such things as velociraptors.
