We really hope this is true…

Remember last year when LEGO released the LEGO Ideas Ecto-1? And then there was a chance that we might get a Firehouse but it was ultimately shot down? Well, it seems LEGO have had a change of heart.

According to youtuber Just2Good, who we’re assured is normally on the money when it comes to leaked LEGO news, the GB HQ is coming in 2016.

“According to him, the set’s number will be 75827 and it will contain a whopping 4,600 pieces! Obviously, with such a high number of pieces comes a high price [and] the Firehouse HQ will retail for a total of $350.00 USD. As for the release date, we should see this bad boy hitting the shelves on January 1st, 2016.”

The set will be based on the original Ghostbusters movies and not the Paul Feig reboot and there’s not other news available at the minute but with it being touted for January, we’d expect to hear more very, very soon…

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
