LEGO Tumbler looks, well, amazing…

July 23rd, 2014 by Irwin Fletcher Comments

LEGO have announced that the tumbler, Christopher Nolan’s version of the Batmobile from the smash-hit Dark Knight trilogy is to be released in September in a stunning 1800+ piece set.

This set is actually the second time that LEGO have released the Tumbler but the first one was only 1045 pieces in comparison, this new set will be the most detailed yet evidenced by the pictures below.

When completely built this model will measure 15 inches long by 9 inches wide, with adjustable wings and a detailed cockpit where mini figures can be placed and how is this for detail, there’s even a screen inside which reveals the Tumbler to be in ‘INTIMIDATE’ mode!

To top it off the set will come with two awesome mini-figures, a batman and a joker both inspired by the actors who portrayed them in the Nolan films, Christian Bale and the late Heath Ledger.

With a retail price of $199 we have no confirmation of a sterling price. Look for it in shops come this September, ONLY in black.
