Well, only three weeks to go and we get a look at two new LEGO sets that appear to reveal a cool location and ship from the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Awakens thanks to The Entertainer.

The set above and below is the Resistance Troop Transport and has General Leia Organa, Admiral Ackbar and a couple of Resistance troopers mini-figs included and is clearly influenced by the B-Wing fighters from Return of the Jedi. It looks very,  very cool.

However, it’s the second set on further down the page that finally, we believe, puts to bed a rumour that appeared a while ago and became quite resilient.

So, looking at the set below called The Battle Of Takodana… (continues after pics)

The Battle on Takodana 1

The Battle on Takodana 2

We can clearly see the Kylo Ren without mask/helmet figure and it’s definitely modelled on Adam Driver and not, as many were suggesting in some theories, Mark Hamill’s Luke Skywalker… so from this set, as well as seeing what appears to be Mas Kananta’s castle on Takodana (how cute is that Mas minifig?), we can clearly see that, whatever Luke Skywalker’s secret is, he IS NOT Kylo Ren…

Expect these sets in shops in rely 2016

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
