It’s all happening over at The CW tonight…

We have a new sizzle reel (watch below) for their new season of shows including Supergirl, Arrow, Flash, Legends of tomorrow, Black Lightning, iZombie and Riverdale… so it’s a fun watch and reminds us that we are living in a golden age of comic book TV.

Some of the choice dialogue from the scene: “My relationship with Superman is completely unpredictable, I never know when I’m going to see him, he’s always in and out-of-town. But that is also the fun part about it, that I’m constantly being kept on my toes and surprised. So I’m hoping one day and honey if you’re hearing this I’m waiting for that rock on my finger.”

And on Supergirl: “She’s kind and I think that it’s great that young ladies today have somebody to look up too. Especially, given the fact we continuously hear of these predators, are coming into the forefront and harassment being a big issue.”

Expect to see Superman’s main lady on the show in the near future…

The character is called Big Sir who, in the comics at least, had mental problems that allowed him to be taken advantage of, usually by bad guys who set hn against The Flash:

You may have picked up the reference to the Elongated Man, Ralph Dibny, played by Hartley Sawyer, who finally gets his own super suit in the show… and it actually looks pretty good; certainly better than the one he’s been wearing until this point in the show:

So that’s loads of cool CW stuff… check out the new sizzle reel below and let us know your thoughts.
