Candice Patton reveals her new speedster suit from The Flash…

February 22nd, 2018 by Marc Comments

Well, it looks like The Flash has a new speedster… at least temporarily.

Actress Candice Patton has shared the image (above) of herself suited up as Iris West in an upcoming episode of The Flash called Run, Iris, Run which airs on March 13th.

In the episode Iris accidentally gets Barry’s powers, becoming, essentially, the female Flash:

Directed by Harry Jierjian and written by Eric Wallace, it follows Team Flash as they confront a new bus meta, Matthew aka Melting Pot (guest star Leonardo Nam). He has the ability to swap people’s DNA, so during a battle with Team Flash, he transfers Barry’s (Grant Gustin) super speed to Iris (Candice Patton). Now, with a new threat unleashed on Central City, Barry must act as the team leader while Iris takes on the mantle of superhero speedster in order to defeat their new foe.  And because of that, we see Iris in her new superhero threads.

It’s unlikely Iris will have the powers after the episode, but what do you think of her as a speedster and what’s the thoughts on her new duds?

Let us know…

PS Kevin Smith gives it his blessing:

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
