Yes! Cobra Kai never dies!
Following on from the news a few weeks back that we could see Cobra Kai spin-offs in the future (here), we now know that season four of the hit show is about to begin production with a couple of minor changes.
The official Netflix Twitter account declared that season four was about to begin production, writing: “You ready? Lets begin! Season 4 of Cobra Kai is officially underway!”
And, as someone who came to the dojo late and then devoured Season one and two within a week and season three in a few days, this is really great news!
On top of this news, we now know that the series is promoting two of its most prominent returning stars to series regulars with Vanessa Rubio and Peyton List, left, officially joining the main cast.
Rubio plays Carmen Diaz, mother of Miguel Diaz and love interest to Johnny Lawrence, the star of the show. List plays Tory Nichols, a Valley High student who quickly became something of a villain and the top Cobra Kai student.
Adding to this, Shameless and The Good Place’s Dallas Dupree Young and Oona O’Brien have joined the cast as new characters. Young will star as a bullied kid named Kenny and O’Brien is set to play the intense and possibly volatile new karate student Devon.
