If there’s one thing we love, it’s The CW’s Arrowverse and how complex it has become with Constantine, Flash, Legends, Supergirl and more.
But one thing that did bug us was when CW Seed aired a Vixen mini-series online before Arrow Season 4.
Why did it bug us? Well, because we’re in the UK and couldn’t watch the series due to region blocked content.
Now, however, the mini-series (both seasons) is to be released as a two-hour animated movie on Wednesday, August 30th on The CW at 8 pm.
Vixen is Mari McCabe (Megalyn Echikunwoke) whom thanks to a magic necklace, can harness the powers and strength of any animal at will.
Echikunwoke, as well as voicing the character, appeared in Arrow Season 4 as Vixen and was set to reappear in Legends Of Tomorrow, however, due to scheduling issues, she had to be replaced by Amaya Jiwe (Maisie Richardson-Sellers), as Mari’s grandmother.
While we’ve seen the show already through, ahem, other means, it’ll be fun to see it as a standalone movie…
Who all will be tuning in?
