DC Universe confirms air date for Harley Quinn and announces new show

October 5th, 2019 by Marc Comments

All the way from New York Comic Con we have some cool news from the world of the DC Universe streaming service.

First up was the news that the Harley Quinn animated series will arrive on Friday, November 29th.. although it’s not clear if it’ll be a weekly release or will drop all at once but so far all they content has been weekly, so that would be my guess here too.

The show stars Kaley Cuoco as Harley, Lake Bell as Poison Ivy, Alan Tudyk as Joker/Clayface, Diedrich Bader as Batman, Giancarlo Esposito as Lex Luthor, Christopher Meloni as Commissioner James Gordon, Sanaa Lathan as Catwoman, Jim Rash as Riddler, Vanessa Marshall as Wonder Woman, Ron Funches as King Shark, Rahul Kohli as Scarecrow, Jacob Tremblay as Damian Wayne along with Tony Hale, J. B. Smoove, Jason Alexander, Wanda Sykes, Natalie Morales and Phil LaMarr in other roles.

On top of this, the streaming service has revealed plans for an exciting new series called BizarroTV which will premiere in 2020 and will focus on the more obscure side of the DC universe with characters such as Space Cabbie, Ambush Bug, Slam Bradley and the Creeper. It will be part animated, part live-action and hopefully all awesome.

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
