If you haven’t seen the latest Flash episode you might want to look away now…
…still with us? Good. Enter Zoom was another action packed episode, it also revealed via Earth-2 flashback a potential future storyline.
We see Wells in the alternative timeline, however we also see news footage telling us that Earth-2 Oliver Queen is dead and the identity of their vigilante has been revealed to be none other than hisdad…ROBERT QUEEN!
So with the revelation that the Green Arrow in the alternate universe is someone else, was it just a throwaway easter egg or will this have bigger implications for a crossover?
It would certainly be the perfect chance to introduce alternative father and son in the upcoming Flash/Arrow episode and would lay further groundwork to the Flashpoint Paradox storyline, in which Batman is revealed to be Thomas Wayne, the father of Bruce.
However would it be too much of a coincidence for Arrow to have so much in common with Batman? It’s certainly an interesting titbit, though it’s doubtful we’ll ever see the two versions of Green Arrow fighting together.
