Fraggle Rock, the famous Jim Henson production, is set to return to our screens thanks to HBO! Yes!

Originally aired back in 1983, the show lasted five seasons and 96 episodes. It will return digitally remastered to the network again later this year.

Fraggle Rock follows the lives of the Fraggles, the Doozers and The Gorgs, three puppet creatures each with their own unique stories and quirks. Each episode will feature songs from many different genres including, rock, blues, gospel and more along with embracing kid-friendly ideals of friendship, diversity and caring.

Richard Goldsmith, EVP of Global Distribution for the Jim Henson Company commented on the remaster: “In remastering the series, illuminate has created a contemporary look for the series with meticulous attention paid to every detail — sharpening the images, cleaning up the contrast, increasing the vibrancy of the colours and re-formatting for wide-screen… We’ll engage a whole new audience who will love meeting the Fraggles, Gorgs, and Doozers.”

Fragile rock is set to return late in 2016 and we can’t wait!

Sing along with us, “down in Fraggle Rock!” clap clap!

My name is Jonathan Snelling. I’ve been a movie fan for a long time now and last year completed a degree in Film and Television Studies at Aberystwyth University. It’s hard to choose a favourite film but I’ve always been a major fan of Christopher Nolan’s Batman saga. I’m really interested to see how Ben Affleck does in Dawn of Justice as it's set to be an incredible film. I’m usually willing to see any genre but naturally some more so than others.
