Is The CW making Megalyn Echikunwoke’s Vixen character a bigger deal soon?

We heard rumours a while ago (here) that they may have been planning a standalone series for the character who so far has featured in her own animated series on CW Seed and even popped up in one of this season’s episodes of Arrow but now she has been put front and centre on stage at CW’s Upfronts (continues after image)

The Upfronts is where they revealed their plans for their shows next season and Echikunwoke was on stage with the Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow, Flash and Supergirl stars.

Now, she IS part of the team and it may just be because she has her animated show which is getting a second season (hey CW! Can we see it here in the UK, please?!), but what if it’s not?

We’re reckoning she’s a possible for the new Legends of Tomorrow line-up as the cast will be fluid every season.

Whatever the outcome, she’s right there in The CW line-up and we’re happy to have her.

In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot.
