With Megalyn Echikunwoke previously being the voice of DC character Vixen in animated form and not officially being part of the Arrow live-action universe after last week’s episode Taken, rumours are once again circulating that we haven’t seen the last of her character.

Speaking to CBM, the actress is clearly excited about playing the character and what the future may hold for her: “I mean, who doesn’t want their own superhero show! Come on! If that happened, I definitely would not be sad. I just love the opportunity to play this character in live-action and I think, if the fans appreciate it like I hope they will, that I would love to do more, in any capacity, really.

“I’m really excited about the second season of the animated show, and I’m really excited about the idea of bringing Vixen into all of the universes, basically getting to hang out with all of her comic book friends — even the Suicide Squad or the Justice League. All of that would be very cool.”

We certainly wouldn’t rule out a standalone series, but with a second season of the animated show on the way, we doubt no matter what happens, we’ve seen the end of Megalyn or Vixen.

In related news, Arrow concept artist Andy Poon has shared art for Arrow season two and DC’ Legends of Tomorrow which includes Firestorm, Green Arrow, Connor Hawke, Vixen, Jay Garrick, Geomancer and Dr Light.

We’ve posted them below… and we love them!
