The Jessica Jones Netflix series has never been afraid to be different from its fellow Marvel shows. From Jessica’s bout with PTSD, to drug addiction, and even abuse on every level imaginable, it’s a lot at times. But, it still is a superhero series, and one of the long-running subplots for the series has been about Trish Walker, who has wanted to become a superhero for some time. And if a set video is to be believed, it’s about to happen.
In Marvel Comics, Trish Walker becomes a hero named Hellcat, and the Jessica Jones series has been teasing that transformation. In Season 02, Trish even goes through an experimental procedure to try and unlock her powers. We’re made to believe it didn’t work, but at the very end, she does something very cat-like with her reflexes. And now, via this set video, we can see her skills are building.
Could Hellcat make an official appearance? We’ll see, Season 03 is coming, maybe even next year, and you can bet that Trish will be there.
