After so many deaths at the end of the last season of Westworld there a many questions as to who will be returning for the upcoming second season.
In a new interview with EW, show runners Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy have revealed some of the new series regulars and a few recurring characters and guest stars who will appear
The most notable returnees are Ed Harris as The Man in Black and Jimmi Simpson as William.
Programmer Elsie Hughes (Shannon Woodward), security chief Ashley Stubbs (Luke Hemsworth), and corporate antagonist Charlotte Hale (Tessa Thompson) are still alive but are now finding themselves experiencing Westworld as forced ‘guests’.
Also back is head writer Lee Sizemore (Simon Quarterman) who kicks off the season as hostage of Maeve (Thandie Newton). Dolores’ father Peter Abernathy (Louis Herthum) will reportedly become ‘an important asset’, and Clementine Pennyfeather (Angela Sarafyan) will also return but her operation has resulted in her being changed forever.
One key bit of casting though, and one that has yet to be revealed, is that a younger version of Dr. Ford will make appearances in the second season via flashbacks.
“Westworld” season two will premiere on HBO on April 22nd.
