This one is getting some legs, guys…
Kevin Durand, who played Blob in X-Men: The Last Stand and is currently doing the press rounds for The Strain in which he plays Vasiliy Fet, has been talking about more genre-specific roles that might be coming up in the actor’s future.
And then he dropped the epic bombshell: “I’ve had a lot of people with The Walking Dead talk to me, mentioned that they see me for a character named “Negan,” but I haven’t read the comic.”
Any comic fans will know that Negan is one of the main – and still ongoing – villains in The Walking Dead comics. He’s a really nasty piece of work and has been rumoured to be coming up in the series for a while now (here)… this looks like it’s confirming what we’re hearing. Oh, and he’s a potentially great choice.
