John Noble to appear in Legends of Tomorrow… in two roles

February 22nd, 2018 by Marc Comments

The third season of Legends of Tomorrow is back in full swing and as the Legends prepare to face the demonic force known as Mallus, possibly their biggest threat to date, Executive producer Marc Guggenheim has announced that Mallus voice actor John Noble will appear as himself in an upcoming episode.

While Mallus will be a totally CGI character the powers that be have managed to wrangle out a different way to use Nobel in the flesh.

Here is what Guggenheim had to say about the actor’s appearance: “We figured out a very Legends-like way to actually get John Noble the actor into the show. We’re very excited that John Noble will be making a live action appearance on Legends. He’s been voicing our third season’s big bad, Mallus, but he won’t be appearing as the time demon. He’ll actually be appearing as himself. It makes total sense in a Legends-y kind of way”

As an unashamed Legends fan, I can’t wait to see how this so-called Legends-y works out as this series has went from strength to strength recently.

We chatted to Noble a while back… you can check it out below:

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
