It looks like Kevin Smith and Todd McFarlane’s Sam and Twitch TB series at BBC America os one step closer to happening.
It was revealed in February that the duo were looking to bring the series to life with BBC America’s president and GM Sarah Barnett said of Smith: “He is attached to write, direct and executive producer a series based on the Sam And Twitch comic book series for us.
“They were originally introduced in Spawn, and it’s Todd McFarlane’s comic book series about these big-city homicide detectives who face a series of super grizzly crimes that are connected to the occult. I bumped into Kevin Smith at Sundance and he is beyond himself excited about this, about the show.”
Interestingly, McFarlane also revealed at SDCC this year that his upcoming Spawn movie will be told through the eyes of the two cop characters (here)… could they be related?
Well, yesterday McFarlane took to Facebook to let the fans know that he and Smith are in talks to make this happen…
