Easily one of the big highlights from Season 1 of Agents of Shield was the arrival of Lady Sif. It brought a very big sense of connectivity as well as being a cool moment seeing Sif back in action. And now? She’s back again! Though…not exactly as we remember…or she remembers.
The second episode of the back half of the season will see the amazing warrior of Asgard return, with amnesia.
“[W]e’re going to have fun with that,” executive producer Jeffrey Bell tells TV Insider, which first reported on Alexander’s encore. “It’ll give us some much-needed humor in a season that’s been full of betrayal and death.”
That it will. Especially since her amnesia will go so far as to not know who Thor is, let alone Coulson and his team. Not only that, before Sif even “reunites” with Coulson, she’s going to have a “bodyslamming showdown” with a villain that ABC/Marvel won’t reveal yet. Could this be a big-bad from Asgard? We’ve already met Lorelei, so who’s next?
