With Netflix currently knee deep in the Marvel universe, not to mention Agents of SHIELD feeling like it finally found its feet this season and the spin-off Mockingjay and Agent Carter out there too, we shouldn’t be surprised to hear of more Marvel TV content.
And we’re not.
Now, treat this as as a rumour, but poster artist Ciara McAvoy has been on Twitter (below) saying she’s involved in the Captain Britain series that no-one seems to know anything about.
The artist, when talking to MCU Exchange, said that she has been hired to work on the poster for the show but can say no more: “I am being paid to do the promo poster so yes I’d say this is really happening. It might take a while before the announcement (either early 2017 or late 2016) They’re making a sizzle reel and it’s gonna be awesome. I can’t reveal anything yet but hopefully I’ll be able to soon. Waiting for the go ahead from the co-producer”
Captain Britain is a hero with links to King Arthur and steeped in British mythology and could be a very interesting addition to the MCU. What do you think, do you want to see Brian Braddock AKA Captain Britain on the small screen? Maybe as part of the Netflix run? Let us know…
