Arrow’s executive producer Marc Guggenheim has revealed that Marv Wolfman will be joining the writing team for Arrow’s episode of Crisis on Infinite Earths.
Some of you may have heard of Marv Wolfman (he’s a bit of a comic legend) who is the original writer for the Crisis on Infinite Earths comic series that took all the different parts from DC’s comics and brought them all together to create a combined history.
Basically he’s the one you have to thank for the DC multiverse, so thank you, Marv.
A lot of people have said that Avengers Endgame has been the crossover event of the year, myself included, but right now this is starting to look like it could be even bigger.
With three to four Supermen, Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, The Legends of Tomorrow, Batwoman, Black Lightning characters, Lynda Carter (rumoured) reprising her role as Wonder Woman, Kevin Conroy stepping out from behind the animation to don the cowl of Batman and possibly bringing Mark Hamill across too as a real portrayal of The Joker, this is starting to shape up into something that not even Darkseid could stop.
Marv’s episode will be one of the last in the five-part special set to air with Supergirl starting off on the eighth of December, followed by Batwoman on the ninth and The Flash on the 10th, and then the long wait for the final 2 episodes which wont air until the 14th of January 2020.
Why the long wait I’m not quite sure but I’m willing to wait just to see what Marv does and how true they keep it to the comics.
