Marvel’s Runaways to bring in a bit of help with a crossover feature.

August 7th, 2019 by Geralt of Australia Comments

Season 3 of Marvel’s Runaways is setting up to be something spectacular with both Cloak and Dagger to make appearances on the new season.

The news follows a few months after  the season 2 finale of Cloak & Dagger in which we see them boarding a bus out of New Orleans to go and become real superhero’s, with the show not yet being renewed for a hirrd season could that be so they can do some work with the Runaways first who do feature heavily in the original comics.

Now, as we all know, everyone loves a crossover; but is it really worth it?

DC have proved that a crossover can work with them bringing Crisis on Infinite Earth this year to The CW and bringing in all available Supermen and Wonder Woman, but this is something that they’ve been doing for a while now and not something that Marvel haven’t much practice with outside of the Defenders.

Personally I’m not the biggest fan of these shows; I think Marvel had the opportunity to do something really well but instead have leaned too much into the teen angst and drama for something that didn’t need to be done, but here’s hoping that season 3 can change my mind.
