More Clone Wars Content on Season Six Discs? UPDATED with Box Art

October 9th, 2014 by Todd Black Comments

Ok, this is not a confirmed thing yet, but it is certainly intriguing.

Information was released today about the upcoming Star Was: The Clone Wars Season 6 DVD/Blu-ray. And The Wolfpack Podcast noticed an…irregularity. Mainly in the advertised runtime for the season.

Season Six had 13 episodes, which ran roughly 4 hours and 47 minutes. The info on the DVD release states that the runtime for the season is 6 hours and 30 minutes. That’s a significant bump. As the Wolfpack writer noted, DVD’s don’t include special features in the runtime.

So what does the bump mean? Well…the Wolfpack writer believes that we could get one or two additional arcs on the discs. Ones that weren’t released on Netflix. Again, this is not confirmed, but it would make sense given what Lucasfilm did recently with their unfinished episodes. Maybe they did finish some and decided to give it to the fans who bought the final season?

Time will tell, until then…why not dream?

UPDATED  – the Wolfpack guys also reckon that this is the official pack art:
