Good news for Simpsons fans who have Disney+ today as a new short hits the streaming service.
Since Disney now own Fox, this is the big welcoming over everyone’s favourite yellow family to the family and it focuses on… Maggie?!
Called Playdate With Destiny, the short was originally set to appear with Pixar’s Onwards movie but due to that damned virus, that all got thrown off course, very few actually saw it on the big screen and with Onwards hitting digital a couple of weeks back, now we have this too.
The film begins on a day that seemed like just another day at the park for Maggie Simpson. But when Maggie faces playground peril, a heroic young baby whisks her from danger — and steals her heart. After a blissful first playdate, Maggie can’t wait to see her new baby beau again the following day, but things don’t go exactly as planned. Will fate (or Homer) get in her way?
