New X-Files series welcomes back classic writers Glen Morgan and James Wong

Glen Morgan and James Wong are coming back to The X-Files!

The writers behind classic episodes of the series such as Squeeze – the episode that introoduced Tooms – along with Home and Little Green Men will be writing along with creator Chris Carter and Glen’s brother Darin Morgan on the six-episode series.

Glen Morgan, also credited as an executive producer, and Wong are attached to write and direct one episode each for the limited series event.

The duo also created Space: Above and Beyond.

David Duchovny, Gillian Anderson and Mitch Pileggi are all confirmed to be returning to The X-Files in 2016.
