Ok, we may not realize this at times, but making a TV show can be hard. You have to balance numerous things to get a single scene right, let alone a whole episode. Because of that, some things get unnoticed, or unexplained at times. And then, there are times that to make a big “impactful moment”, you make a goof.

For Arrow, that came recently, and it was noticed by MANY fans, this guy (and his father) included. Basically, when the Atom (Ray Palmer) and Arrow (Oliver Queen) fight, Atom sends a big electrical burst at Roy, taking him out of the fight to set up the 1-on-1 matchup.

Ollie (naturally) wins the fight, then says a very powerful line before walking away. So what’s the problem? He didn’t walk to Roy to check on him! He literally walked away from the fight!

As stated above, many fans noticed this, and wondered why this happened. As it so happens, showrunner Marc Guggenheim either noticed this after the fact, or heard fan complaints and realized the goof. Because when asked about it (multiple times) he responded with:

“Yeah, that was our bad.”
