We reported during the week that the first look at Rosario Dawson may have been revealed from The Mandalorian season 2 where there has long been a rumour that she is set to place Ahsoka Tano for the first time in live-action (here).
Thanks to an Instagram post from Disney+ in Denmark (which we posted below) it seems we have confirmation that Dawson and also Timothy Olyphant are indeed in the series.
Dawson, as we said above, is expected to play ex-Jedi Ahsoka Tano, star of animated shows Clone Wars and Rebels, who we last saw with another Mandalorian, Sabine Wren, as the duo were setting off to find their Jedi friend Ezra Bridger who had vanished along with Grand Admiral Thrawn.
Olyphant is expected to play Cobb Vanth who appeared in Chuck Wendig’s Aftermath books – interesting thing about Vanth is that he may have – and wear – Boba Fett’s armour (here and here) in the show.
We’ve also learned that Temuerra Morrison will play legendary bounty hunter Fett in the series too (here).
The Mandalorian will return to Disney+ on October 30th.
