Ok, so here’s the thing… we’re all wondering when Negan is coming in to The Walking Dead.

Because, let’s be honest, The Walking Dead could really do with an injection of pure, merciless evil to liven things up.

Heck, just type Negan into our search bar to see how much we write about the guy and who might play him with Kevin Durand, from The Strain, being the latest contender.

Well, now there’s another name in the running – well, according to the internet – and we love it!

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles and Justified actor Garret Dillahunt put up a tweet saying he’s reading the latest Walking Dead comic compendium, the one with Negan on the cover. He added ‘just cause’.

And the Internet is going into overdrive about it. Could he be in the running for Negan? We certainly hope so because he’s such a versatile actor and could well be perfect for the evilest man in The Walking Dead universe. So far.

What do you think? Has Dillahunt got what it takes?

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
