Hard to believe we’re here but the last episodes of The Walking Dead are about to air and we have a trailer from SDCC 2022 for it.
Norman Reedus, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Lauren Cohan are all back for the end of this road… although they’re all coming back for the Daryl spin-off and the Negan/Maggie series, Isle of Dead.
Oh and we’re getting the three movies to wrap up Rick Grimes’ story soon and the new anthology series Tales of the Walking Dead (which looks great)
But, for now, The Walking Dead’s final batch of eight episodes kick off on Sunday, October 2nd after 11 long years.
As our story lurches toward its conclusion, our embattled survivors face yet another trial by fire, this one courtesy of the Commonwealth, the perfect-on-the-surface mega-community that operates under the thumb of Laila Robins’ Governor Pamela Milton and her right-hand man, Josh Hamilton’s unhinged Lance Hornsby. If you’ll recall, the Season 11B finale (recapped here) left Alexandria, Hilltop and Oceanside allied against the power mongers, whose soldiers are better-armed and have fun stormtrooper costumes to boot.
Check out the trailer below and let me know what you think, guys,
