With the Batwoman panel at SDCC just over, we now have some cool new details on the show and how it fits into the Batman lore.
One of the biggest bits of news was that the show would feature Tommy Elliot, best friend of the young Bruce Wayne and the villain, Hush (below).
Which ties in nicely as the Hush animated movie has just dropped on digital download.
In the Hush story line Elliot manipulated not just Batman’s friends, but also his enemies, to take him down and destroy the man beneath the mask.
How will tommy fit into The CW-verse? No idea… but I’m excited to find out.
We also learned:
Villains from the Batman and Batwoman rogues gallery will appear along with new ones
Supergirl may cameo – this was set-up in last year’s Elseworlds crossover
The show will explore more of Kate Kane’s sexuality – no big surprise there
And finally, a big one: Bruce Wayne MAY appear!
We also leaned that there will – for the first year at least – be no other members of the Bat-family appearing as they want to capture the vibe of Arrow Season 1 which has a lone hero fighting evil. Perhaps further down the line?
