Jon Favreau has previously said that Dave Filoni wanted to bring Ahsoka into live-action ever since Clone Wars and The Mandalorian was a test to see if audiences were ready for live-action Ahsoka. We certainly were, guys.: “The character has found new legs with the work we’ve been doing, and a show called The Mandalorian really set that up beautifully,” said Filoni.

Other news: Kevin Kiner, who scored The Clone Wars and The Bad Batch, is scoring Ahsoka, which makes a lot of sense as he knows Ahsoka and her themes more than anyone.
The series will have eight episodes oh, and Dave Filoni confirmed that the orange lightsabers are something news to Star Wars and not just a badly cloured effect… they will be something we have never seen before.
