Statement released by Krypton showrunner about show’s cancellation

August 21st, 2019 by Geralt of Australia Comments

Cameron Welsh, Krypton’s showrunner and executive producer, has release a statement via Twitter over the show’s cancellation.

In one of the more lengthy Twitter posts, Welsh said: “Krypton was and always will be your show. We made it for you, so please know everybody involved left it all out on the field. Unfortunately, the challenge of keeping a show on the air in today’s television landscape, especially a relatively expensive show for a network like Syfy just proved too great.”

After just two season of the show it’s hard to see where they went wrong, most likely it could have been what they did to Lobo, but that could have been due to the fact that it was a relatively expensive show and the money needed to go elsewhere.

Either way I do hope that it can still continue on another network, one that can afford to let them do what they need to.
