Remember we reported at the weekend that Arrow actor Stephen Amell has offered to appear on Constantine if it got picked up again (here)? Well, there may be a little more to it…

FTN favourite Amell, appearing at Wizard World Philadelphia, confirmed that there was already discussions at DC to bring Arrow and Constantine together and we are loving this idea!

“The reason that I was going to guest star on Constantine, at least the idea that we were throwing around,” said Amell, ” was he’s an expert when it comes to the Lazarus Pit, which is now something that is a part of and will continue to be a part of Arrow.”

Seriously, how awesome would this have been?

We know Constantine was divisive with a lot of the fans, but we at FTN really did like the show and, more importantly, we saw great potential in it had it been given the proper chance to breathe.

Whatever happens, we know that it really is the little show that won’t role over and die and it’s fighting hard to come back from the dead. And we reckon that’s pretty fitting, indeed.

Let’s make our hastage a thing: #SaveConstantineWithAnArrow

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
