The guys over at Making Star Wars have reported that they’ve just heard there’s a few BIG names heading for the beginning of Rebels Season 2…
They are reporting that at a Marvel event earlier today, a Lucasfilm representative told them that the first episode of Season 2 will feature Darth Vader, Emperor Palpatine AND Ahsoka Tano.
They went on to say: “I took the information to my sources. They couldn’t believe it. How did I know this? When I told them they were shocked. It was pretty funny. That was when it was confirmed for me. Since then I’ve had it confirmed solidly again.”
They also report that James Earl Jones recorded his lines already and the very lovely Ashley Eckstein (watch our interview with her below) is back as the older Ahsoka Tano.
This is awesome news… the part we are most excited for is the return of Ahsoka because, frankly, it opens all sorts of doors regarding the character and future episodes and movies.
