To be clear, this is only for the Arrow part of the crossover, but it still counts! And it totally works with what DC has done in the past, make a reference to a comic, or a show, or a movie. And in this case…it’s kind of all of the above.
As posted by Marc Guggenheim, the executive producer for Arrow, the first-half of the crossover is to be titled…The Brave and the Bold.
How is this significant you ask? Well, both the Flash and Green Arrow have been in comic series called “The Brave and the Bold”. Even more fun though is the long running comic series Batman: The Brave and the Bold, that was also made into a cartoon series. In the series, Green Arrow was a regular, and Barry Allen and the other Flashes had a very memorable episode in the final season of the show.
Like I said, this is DC being true to it’s roots with it’s shows, and I can’t wait for this to happen! In case you forgot, the second half of the crossover will be “Flash vs. Arrow”. Take that Dawn of Justice!
