Get ready for the new daily show

Victor Garber is leaving Legends of Tomorrow PLUS New footage from Legends, Flash and Arrow

It looks like the Legends of Tomorrow are set to get a little smaller later this season…

It has been announced that actor Victor Garber who plays Martin Stein/Firestorm is set to leave during this upcoming season to return to Broadway.

The actor nabbed a role opposite Bernadette Peters in the Tony-winning revival of Hello, Dolly! He takes over the role from David Hyde Pierce (with Peters stepping in for Bette Midler.) Garber’s first show is January 20th.

Garder has been a part of The CW’s TV universe since he first appeared in The Flash before becoming a founding member of Legends in season one.

It is believed his character will be seen leaving the show pretty definitely however, due to the nature of Legends’ time travelling shenanigans it’s not entirely unlikely he will return.

Just a theory, but with Matt Ryan’s John Constantine set to appear this season too (here), could The CW be working on making him a new part of the Legends team on the show, replacing Garber? Remember, Constantine joining the Legends was heavily rumoured for Season 2 (here) and with Constantine season one streaming on CW Seed (the online streaming site), many believed this could be because The CW wanted to make him part of the ongoing universe by getting their viewers more familiar with the character.

What do yo all reckon? Let us know…

In related news, here’s sizzle reels for the new seasons of Legends of Tomorrow and Arrow as well as a new trailer for The Flash called ‘Therapy’. Enjoy:
