There are four episodes left in the first season of Gotham, and the show has been confirmed for a second season. The question now becomes, who will show up next?

At WonderCon, the cast of the show did a panel and revealed some big names that’ll arrive in the second season.

Three mainstays of the Batman Rogues Gallery were confirmed to be coming in season two: Clayface, Mad Hatter, and Mr. Freeze. It’s unclear how they will appear, and in what capacity. But most likely we’ll learn more about the characters before they go full villain. Though that may not be a guarantee…

Also, Bruce will take more of a spotlight, as the second season will show the “emergence of character billionaire Bruce Wayne”. Also, “Jerome”, the suspected Joker of the series, may also return in season 2.

A big twist though was that the show was considering a Court of Owls story, which honestly could work very well in Gotham, but the writers “haven’t fully committed to it”…yet.

Gotham returns with its final four episodes on April 13th.

I love the Mad Hatter, so I think he would make a wonderful addition to the show. I just can’t get over the fact that Fish isn’t going to be around – at least not as portrayed by Jada Pinkett-Smith. The potential loss of that character has me a bit perturbed because I love the fact that they added a “villain” that wasn’t canon, and actually pulled it of very well. They could really go places with her character if they continued to develop her more. Oh well, I at least hope they take care to send her off in a deserving fashion.
