Kevin Tsujihara, CEO of Warner Bro’s, spoke at a Media and Telecoms conference recently about the future of his company.

He spoke about the importance of WB’s major franchises, stating that; “If you look at what’s happening with the quality of the television product, the movies that are breaking through are the big franchises.”

It seems that, rightfully so, Tsujihara realises that with there being so many top quality TV shows out there, it is now more important that ever to produce truly high quality movies to keep people coming to the cinemas.

WB’s current big name franchises currently include the new Harry Potter prequels, the DC cinematic universe, the Lego franchise, the ‘monster’ franchise of Godzilla and King Kong, and the Middle Earth Franchise, which ended in 2014.

There was also a rumour that WB may be releasing their own version of Netflix yet there has been no official confirmation of this as yet.

A DC and Harry Potter TV channel!? You know we’re first in line for that!

What about you all?
