Studio Trigger has released a very cool new anime short charting the history of the Transformers franchise to mark its 40th anniversary.
Oh, the music is Mayday by Bump of Chicken, in case you’re wondering.
I still remember clearly, as a young boy, seeing the cover of the first issue of the UK Transformers comic on the shelves and getting it and, not long after, going to the toyshop to get my first of many figures… it was Gears, by the way and, forty years later, I still have him!
This franchise means a lot to so many people and with Transformers: One releasing in cinemas next weekend, it’s nice to indulge in the history and joy it has brought so many over the years.
