Happy 250th Birthday, America! The cast of Better Call Saul has reunited to bring back some of the show’s characters as only it can.
To mark the occasion, Saul Goodman AKA Jimmy McGill (Bob Odenkirk), has released a special video for his clients celebrating the beautiful rights of all you lucky Americans, but that’s not all! The video also features the return of Mike Ehrmantraut (Jonathan Banks), putting in a little cameo at the end.
Reportedly, when asked what Saul/Jimmy is doing these days, creator Vince Gilligan said: “I think [President Donald] Trump pardoned him. Kind of tracks. I think he’s a free man. I think he’s doing infomercials.”
Hmmmmmm…
Also released is a new tasty taco recipe featuring Don Eduardo “Lalo” Salamanca (Tony Dalton)!

This is perfect! Having Saul sitting in his office celebrating the big day just feels right… Although if, like me, you’re trying to make this fit in the show’s timeline, there’s no point because SPOILERS only Saul would still be alive for the 25oth! SPOILERS END.
I love this! And watching it, there’s no arguing that Odenkirk would pull off a new season of Better Call Saul quite easily, given that the series ended just four years ago.
Better Call Saul is the prequel to the award-winning series Breaking Bad, set six years before Saul Goodman became Walter White’s lawyer.
SFX legend joins Legacy of the Dead, based on George A Romero’s last project before his death
When we meet him, the man who will become Saul Goodman is known as Jimmy McGill, a small-time lawyer searching for his destiny, and, more immediately, hustling to make ends meet.
Working alongside, and often against, Jimmy is “fixer” Mike Ehrmantraut, a beloved character introduced in Breaking Bad. The series will track Jimmy’s transformation into Saul Goodman, the man who puts “criminal” in “criminal lawyer.
