WATCH: Loki Season 2 trailer is here! And it is burdened with glorious purpose

There’s no point in mincing words, the MCU has been in a bad state since Endgame.

Sure, there’s been moments of good stuff… Garfield and Maguire returning in No Way Home, Patrick Stewart in the Doctor Strange sequel, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 but overall, it’s been a mixed bag usually teetering between ‘God-awful’ and ‘not bad’ and when it came to their Disney+ content, that was even worse, with Marvel, who went through Phase IV faster than we could say ‘bring back Thanos’, seemingly losing all semblance of sense or planning.

However, one show that was fun and did seem to at least know what it was doing, was 2021’s Loki Season One, which truly blew open the Multiverse which has been spanning across the MCU ever since and, thankfully, the trailer for season 2, below, looks like it’s going to keep the momentum up.

Did we just learn how Reynolds and Jackman’s Deadpool and Wolverine will step in the MCU?

With Tom Hiddleston returning as the titular antihero, he’ll be joined once again by Owen Wilson’s Mobius and, yay!, Ke Huy Quan joins the cast this season, which teases the return of Jonathan Major’s Kang as the main villain. The trailer looks fun and it might just be the injection Marvel needs to show fans that can do series as well as movies… but will Deadpool appear? Well, it’s unlikely but certainly not impossible.

Watcht he trailer below and marvel (no pun intended) at just how much we miss Loki in the MCU; #BringBackLoki, just sayin’.
