WATCH: New footage from HBO’s Watchmen series gives us (brief) look at the new Ozymandias

Three very brief new teasers have appeared online for the upcoming HBO series Watchmen.

The teases give us a glimpse at Regina King’s new character and the new Adrian Veidt AKA Ozymandias played by Jeremy Irons.

Created and written by Damon Lindelof created, the new Watchmen series pilot will be directed by Nicole Kassell with music and score by Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross.

Based on characters from Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons’ limited comic series, Watchmen is produced by White Rabbit in association with Warner Bros. Television.

Set in an alternate history where “superheroes” are treated as outlaws, WATCHMEN embraces the nostalgia of the original groundbreaking graphic novel while attempting to break new ground of its own.

Watchmen stars Regina King, Jeremy Irons, Don Johnson, Tim Blake Nelson, Louis Gossett Jr., Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Andrew Howard, Tom Mison, Frances Fisher, Jacob Ming-Trent, Sara Vickers, and Dylan Schombing. The series is produced for HBO by White Rabbit in association with Warner Bros. Television, based on characters from DC.
