You may recall a year ago Adult Swim released the first episode of Rick & Morty Season 4 on the sneaky… and this year, with season 5 still in dispute, they gave fans something else… a weird Australian take on the show.
The episode, embedded below, is a weird outing even by R&M standards as Australian animator Michael Cusack re-imagined the series as Bushworld Adventures and in it Rick & Morty go on a road trip across Australia with Rick’s end goal being to kill Morty.
It’s not in-universe with the series, and we don’t think it was made with the input of Justin Roiland or Dan Harmon, the show’s co-creators. And Roiland certainly isn’t on voicing duties.
Whatever the story, it’s certainly fun, weird and NSFW watch.
